Champagne and Blush is one of my favourite colour combination used together! I love when a bride goes outside the realms of white and cream, without going too far in to the ‘look at me' category, it's unusual but still ultra classy.

Champagne and Blush screams style with a capital S.

If you are a visual or tactile person (like me, I like to see, touch and taste) the Wedding Expos/Shows are a fantastic opportunity to compare and contrast businesses and products. One of the best things I found when planning my own wedding was creating an inspiration board.
I actually got the idea from one of my ultra organised brides, who came to me to plan her wedding flowers. She was a very visual person, much like myself and she had pages and pages of cut outs, quotes, fabrics and pictures of themes, styles and ideas that she loved. It gave me an absolutely clear cut idea of what she wanted, her style and expectations. I can’t stress how helpful this is for a vendor !
For my own inspiration board, I included fabric from my dress, my invitation stationary, pictures of dresses (mine, my bridesmaids and flower girls, sketches of how I wanted my marquee to look, cut outs from magazines, beads for my flowers, photos of my earrings..... you get the idea.
I can’t understate how effective they are in helping you polish your vision into one cohesive style.
I threw these together to show you just how simple they are, they all took around 20mins.

Trailing bouquets for me evoke such an image of old world glamour, and style that simply does not age. While I admit they don’t suit everyone, they can take some weddings and wedding dresses from lovely to stunning.. they add drama and a sense of style. And luckily for those of you (like me) who appreciate their beauty, I have fantastic news..... they are on their way back in a HUGE way created by a new breed of inspired, modern floral designers, along with many traditional, and vintage elements....urns overflowing with beautiful blowsy blooms, chandeliers and candelabras dripping with crystals, orchids and ivy......anyway you get the idea.
